James Willis of Richmond, VA owns this 1966 Galaxie 500. James only paid $200 for this car, and has restored it to its current condition. It's not finished yet, and when finished James hopes to show this car. Great job! Walt McClelland from Johnstown, PA sent us this picture of his cloned “Andy Griffith” cop car, based on a 1960 Galaxie. Here are some of the car’s highlights: 352 4-barrel, working siren, beacon and spot light, and Motorola 2-way radio with whip antenna. The car also features a CD player in the glove box that plays the Andy Griffith theme song through the grille! Many of the car’s interior, engine, and trunk parts came from Dearborn Classics. The cruiser made its debut at the 50th anniversary of the TV show, held in Mount Airy, NC. Owned by Walt and Marilyn McClelland.
