The classic car hobby and automotive restoration is something we value greatly here at Dearborn Classics. It is our goal to help preserve and improve the restoration hobby through active participation. We have realized that the youth of today are the car builders of tomorrow. With a technology driven world, many young adults are never taught or encouraged to learn practical mechanical knowledge. The youth that has been exposed to this kind of work has invaluable experience that can be applied to all facets of their life. Learning to work on a car develops skills that otherwise may not be possible. We all know that restoring a car is a very challenging task that teaches many practical lessons along the road to completion, we would like to see more youth get involved in the rewarding hobby of auto-restoration and modification. We understand there are youths that have a great desire to build a car, and may not to have the financial means to buy parts they need. It is through these parts scholarships that we can play a small role in encouraging youth to join a hobby that will bring them a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment for the rest of their lives. If you are parent with an eager youth, or you know of such an individual that would meet our requirements, please encourage them to contact us by mail.
